Some time ago we have been shared this competition on our platform. Now the winner of the ‘Micro-Housing Architecture Competition 2019’ hab been announced. This competition has been organized by Volume Zero, an international architecture and design magazine. – the contest challenged the participants to come up with various, inventive solutions to solve the persistent issue of ‘space crunch’ in cities to provide the imperative requirement of ideal housing to as many people as possible.
The jury for the competition consisted of esteemed designers like Mikkel Bogh from (EFFEKT), Sun Dayong (Penda Architecture China), James Shen (People’s Architecture Office), Shobhan Kothari (ADND), Anand Menon(ADND).
The top three winners were awarded total prize money of $4000, while ten entries received honorable mentions. The details of the top three winners are below.
The first place has been given an Indian Architect group, which is from Mumbai, India. Their name are Abhinav Prasoon, Siddarth Mahadevan, Reena Gaikwad(Mumbai, India) 2nd place has been grabbed by the American group of Architect namely Justin Jed Zumel, Shuang Ding, Manuchet Chaiyo(Dallas, USA) and 3rd place has been awarded to (Sai Mai, Thailand) Architect, and the architect is Siraphop Pulsr, Thanasuan Chatmawong, Manuchet Chaiyo.
