October 12th is the deadline to register to YACADEMY 's high level training course in Architecture for Exhibition: don’t miss the chance to apply for 110 hours of lessons, a 60-hour workshop and internships/lectures held by internationally renowned architectural firms like ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS (London) DAVID CHIPPERFIELD ARCHITECTS (London) JEAN NOUVEL DESIGN (Paris) CARLO RATTI ASSOCIATI (Turin) STUDIO FABIO NOVEMBRE (Milan) STUDIO URQUIOLA (Milan) ALL DESIGN (London) ITALO ROTA (Milan) FERRARI SPA (Maranello)

The students will focus on preservation practices, lighting techniques and perception psychology to deepen their knowledge on technical practices to adopt in an exhibition design. The workshop deals with a real design case agreed with Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and offers a great opportunity to analyze and realize the outcome design. Hence, dealing with the viability, perceptual, and compositional problems connected to the exhibition space, the students will learn how to design useful architecture that enhances and highlights the different contents of the exhibition, whilst responding to the cultural industry’s needs and to the needs of the companies that, every day more, want to tell a story about their production history and tradition. Moreover, thanks to their internships in well-renowned professional firms, the students will gain an efficient link to the labor market.
Nowadays, thanks to the collaboration with the University of Bologna, YAC’s expertise can serve young designers better, providing them with the creation of high-level educational programs aimed at polishing the skills of the students and offering them a valuable connection to the labour market.
The courses will take place at YACademy’s headquarters: a historical building located in the heart of Bologna historical city center, close to the Two Towers and next to Piazza Santo Stefano, undoubtedly one of the most picturesque corners of the city.
