With the aim to honor a living architect or architects whose completed work and projects reflects the qualities of vision, devotion and talent. And whose works have significantly contributed to humanity through art of architecture. This international prize is awarded every year, to a living architect(s), by the Pritzker family of Chicago via Hyatt Foundation. It is also referred to as "architectures Nobel". The award consists of US $100,000 and a bronze medallion, and is conferred on the laureate(s) at a ceremony held at an architecturally significant site throughout the world.
